Taking A 46′ Albin From New York To Florida – Day 8

Once again we arose at dawn, and while we waited to get the boat under way, the dolphins came out again to wish us well. We cast off and headed back out the inlet into the Atlantic heading down to Ft. Pierce. This time without our friends to show the way. After 5 days of running behind and alongside those guys, it seemed strange not to have them around. As the Captain of the Sunseeker said “Any time you can travel on the waters with a second boat along it’s a benefit to both”. He was extremely helpful to us, we learned an enormous amount from him, but as he said, having us along was a benefit for him as well.
